The Publication Industry Promotion Agency of Korea (KPIPA) and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism are set to host the K-Book Copyright Fair Online for publishers at home and abroad from August 25th to December 11th. The online fair, which aims to provide new export opportunities in this new environment brought by the coronavirus, distributed videos from the online seminar prior to the event to better advertise Korea’s publication content.
The online seminar is divided into five topics where publication experts in Korea will join and carry out discussions: “Publishing Trends in K-Books (August 28th)”, “Exporting Copyrights of Korean Children’s Books (September 4th)”, “Shanghai International Children’s Book Fair 2020: South Korea’s Top Killer Content Books (September 11th)”, “K-Books We Should Focus on in 2020 & Why (October 16th)”, and “Publishing Trends in Korean Children’s Books and Young Adult Literature About Gender Equality & Being Myself (November 20th).” The videos can be found on the official YouTube channel of KPIPA and on the K-Book platform, and below are the already opened videos up to date.
