South Korea's publishing market based on category 2019.12.09 The biggest characteristic of South Korea's publishing industry is that the portion of books on education and learning for young children to students of all ages is very large. South Korea's college-attendance rate is roughly 70 percent, which is one of the highest among OECD countries.
