2023 Sharjah International Book Fair: Korean Pavilion - “Unlimited Imagination”
Korea participated as the guest of honor at the Sharjah International Book Fair, which took place from November 1 to November 12, 2023.
The Korea Pavilion introduced outstanding Korean writers and works under the theme of “Unlimited Imagination” and organized various programs.

On the first day of the book fair, members of the publishing industry from both the United Arab Emirates and Korea gathered to kick off and celebrate the opening of the Korean Pavilion.
Under the theme of unlimited imagination, the Pavilion showcased various books, including literature, humanities, webtoons, and picture books, introducing Korea’s excellent books.
Programs such as themed seminars, lectures, and talks were held to deepen the understanding of the works and expand the reading horizons of participants.
It was a great time to introduce Korea to the world through art, performances, and workshops through the medium of “books” and meet readers in Sharjah.

The Publication Industry Promotion Agency of Korea (KPIPA) will continue to make the best efforts to globalize K-Books and expand copyright exports in addition to participating in international book fairs.
